GRM Returns to the 9th Annual Jersey City Breast Cancer Walk
It’s that time of year again when you start seeing more shades of pink from those showing their support during Breast Cancer Awareness month. For women, it is the second leading cause of cancer death and is the most common cancer diagnosed in the U.S.
This is why GRM is proud to be returning to the 9th Annual Jersey city Breast Cancer Walk taking place on Sunday, October 23rd. GRM’s team, Jersey City Cares will be raising money for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, and encourages all to donate.
Last year’s event was a great success involving thousands of local residents showing their support and raising a total of $161,000. The Jersey City walk is part of an impressive national effort, where events hosted by nearly 300 communities raise millions of dollars for breast cancer education and prevention. These events also provide heartfelt and inspiring opportunities to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors.
