Houston, Texas—GRM, a leader in lifecycle information management solutions, took part recently in the ARMA Houston 2015 Spring Conference, which was well attended by company representatives throughout the Oil and Energy Sector.
“We brought some powerful, positive energy of our own to the event,” said GRM, Houston General Manager, Frank Martinez. “It was a great show for us in terms of getting our brand out there; very busy in terms of meeting/greeting potential customers and information management industry colleagues. We made a lot of contacts and engaged with several prospective new clients.”
As the Association of Records Manager’s largest regional event, the Spring Conference was held April 21-22 at Houston’s Norris Conference Center, where hundreds of company representatives and vendors converged for two days of information management education and networking.
In addition to Martinez, GRM Regional Vice President, Jerry Steves attended the show, welcoming visitors to the GRM booth with giveaways and expert advice on solving a wide range of document management needs. One lucky, raffle-winning visitor even received a free Samsung Galaxy Tablet, courtesy of GRM.
Said Steves, “Houston is known as the Energy capital of the world and information is arguably the most important fuel these businesses run on. In the era of Big Data, information is critical, second only to people, really, in terms of being a vital asset.”
“That’s why,” continued Martinez, “we’re seeing a lot of need for our services at an event like this. Being an active, local Houston ARMA Chapter member, in good standing, this was a must for GRM. We wouldn’t have missed it for anything.”
