Jersey City, New Jersey—GRM, a leader in end-to-end information management solutions, announced today that it has acquired Comprehensive Archives, a records storage company located in Queens, New York.
Founded in 1978, Comprehensive Archives has been serving the New York City, Westchester County, Long Island and Northern New Jersey areas for well over 30 years, providing offsite document storage and destruction services.
“We are extremely pleased that Comprehensive Archives is now part of our growing enterprise,” said GRM’s Executive Vice President, Jerry Glatt. “This acquisition brings us Comprehensive’s base of marquee customers as well as significant additional inventory accumulated by the company over many years. Especially exciting for us is that Comprehensive is highly concentrated in the healthcare area, which is very strategic to GRM. In the past few years, we have dramatically expanded our solutions for this important vertical, so Comprehensive customers will now be able to benefit from our focused healthcare solutions such as Medical Release of Information. Comprehensive’s clients from other industries, too will have new opportunities to access our extensive integrated information management offerings, which include a paper-to-digital Blended Solution, Enterprise Content Management digital hosting solutions, on demand scanning/imaging, HR Onboarding and Vendor Neutral Archiving.”
Coming on the heels of GRM expanding its Latin America presence with a new location in Bogota, Columbia, the addition of Comprehensive Archives is further proof of the company’s commitment to growth.
“This acquisition is a strategic opportunity for GRM going forward,” continued Glatt. “The Comprehensive customer base, for instance, includes a number of major medical organizations. The relationships already established around these accounts places us in an excellent position to further serve the rapidly growing healthcare vertical market.”
